Detail

Students create artwork to gain an appreciation of the movement and sound of water in their environment. Water's movement in natural settings--crashing waves, cascading waterfalls and rolling rivers--influences many forms of artistic expression found in cities. By recognizing this relationship, students identify not only their physiological but also their emotional need for the soothing effects of water's movement and sound.
